Description of the technological process:

1. Scraper conveyor with receiving hopper for waste loading
Unsorted waste is fed into the receiving hopper, which can be done with a loader or directly from a vehicle. The design includes hatches for cleaning and maintenance. The hopper contains a scraper plate conveyor from which waste is fed to the loading conveyor.

2. Loading conveyor.
Loading conveyor with rubberized chevron-type belt. Linear speed adjustment is provided by frequency converters.

3. Drum separator
Waste is fed into the drum-type separator via the loading conveyor, which is designed for sieving organic and biological waste. The separator is a metal drum structure with an internal double-flight screw, covered with metal mesh, mounted on a metal frame. Knives and hooks are also placed on the inner part of the separator for tearing polyethylene bags. During drum rotation, material passes through the entire separator: fine waste is sieved and falls down through the removal hopper, while the rest goes to the main conveyor of the sorting cabin; bags and sacks should be torn in the drum. Linear speed adjustment is provided by frequency converters.

4. Sorting cabin
After sieving in the drum, waste is fed to the sorting cabin conveyor for manual sorting by types: paper, polymer waste, wood, leather, glass, metal, etc. Number of workplaces in the sorting cabin – 8-12 places (depending on technical conditions). The cabin is equipped with exhaust and supply ventilation, two bactericidal lamps for cabin disinfection and bactericidal lamps for incoming waste disinfection, heating system, lighting, and emergency stop buttons for the conveyor belt located near each workplace. The room is made of sandwich panels.

5. Main sorting conveyor.
Waste from the separator is moved to the sorting cabin. Conveyor belt with rubberized surface. Width 1000 mm. Linear speed adjustment is provided by frequency converters.

6. Fine fraction removal conveyor.
Fine fraction from under the drum separator enters the loading belt conveyor with rubberized belt through the hopper. Conveyor belt with ribbed surface. Linear speed adjustment is provided by frequency converters.

7. Magnetic separator
Provides separation of metal particles from solid household waste and is located above the main sorting conveyor.

8. Mobile container
Containers are located under the sorting cabin. Frame made of profile pipe. Container made of mesh with square cells 60 mm × 60 mm. The sorting complex is equipped with gear motors of Austrian production by "Nord". Required power supply 22-26 kW (summer-winter period).

9. Two-position press
The press consists of two parts: pressing block and two accumulation chambers. Plate movement cycle time is 30 to 50 seconds. Pressure 160 bar.

Recommended room parameters for equipment installation: length – 36 m. Width in axes – 15 m. Height – 7 m. Warranty period of station operation – 12 months from the date of equipment installation, or 18 months from the date of sale. Service life – at least 15 years.
